First of I am new here so Hi all. Now ... I have a 2008 Sonata and about 2 weeks ago I started to have problems with my ignition switch. I have to play with it to get it to start the car or even turn,(the valet key works fine). I am getting ready to purchase a new ignition switch but have been told that I need to have the computer flashed at a dealer so I may as well have them install it. the second part of the question is that as of yesterday I have noticed that my remote key-less entry works only part of the time. so when i try to use it and it don't work i have headlights that stay on unless i manually turn them off. could this key-less entry issue be tied to the ignition switch and also do i need to have the computer flashed after i put in a new ignition switch? hope I have not confused anyone.
