Hi guys. I'm having an issue with the transmission in our car. It's an 02 auto with 135k. The car will drive fine when cold, but once it warms up after 2 or 3 miles, the transmission will start to slip out of gear, and soon will no go into any gear at all. When I tried driving it, I shut if off and let it cool for 15 minutes after it stopped moving, then restarted it and it drove about 2 miles before it gave up again.
It is throwing codes P0755, P0760, and P0765, for shift solenoids B, C, and D. What I think caused the issue is that it was run out of fluid; my dad hopped in to go to lunch one day and said that it wouldn't go into any gear, and the fluid was very low. He was able to drive it to the store to fill the fluid, and continued to drive it to work for 2 weeks without a problem, but then the issue came back and it is now undriveable. So, I suspect that the tranny is cooked, but I don't know much about automatics. Has anyone had experience with this issue, or this combination of codes? What do you think the issue could be? Any feedback is appreciated!
