Hi Guys,
If your 3 cylinder 1.5 CRDi 12v has striped cam belt teeth, or broke the cam belt, do not fear.
Not sure if it was by design or a mistake, but the chances of you having bent valves are slim.
You may find that the rocker arms have broken, and maybe even one or two of the valve bridges.
Save yourself a lot of frustration and money, by replacing only these broken bits in the tappet cover, and testing the compression before striping the head. Trust me, not a nice job.
Had this happen to me, and even though we tried to start it for a long time, not knowing the belt was toast, the valves where perfect still. This is because the valves are square to the piston.
Injectors come out easy, just look up my other thread.
