My current A/C leaks freon from the front of the compressor in the middle.... not going to repair it just replace the compressor expansion valve and the drier(bag type).
i have been looking for a week to no avail on how much PAG 46 oil i need to put in the compressor and how much in the drier. I know 5 ounces is what the manufacturer suggests total but cannot find info for how much where.
After the install i will be taking it to an a/c repair shop to have system evacuated and leak tested. If anyone has this information please share it with me. It is gong to be 102 today and higher temps for the rest of the week... no a/c in this heat is not good. thanks in advance.
