Broken clock

So, my clock works on it's own time. Purchased by 05 Accent used by the way.

When I am sometimes able to use the reset buttons, fix the time...when I return to my car hours later it's as if the car only actually counts time while the car is actually on..make sense?

Anyways, it doesn't work, properly.

I plan on simply leaving it unplugged, better to see nothing than the wrong time, not a big deal at all, but if this happens to be something someone has dealt with / fixed before, feel free to share
