Okay, so this is one of those questions...
My friend recently removed his mufflers from his '13 Mustang. Now, Im trying to tell him thats probably a bad idea, California being anal with vehicle code and all, and he's asking for trouble....
Then it hit me, what would the E sound like, or even operate like with no muffler? I mean, you already can't hear the engine running once warm pretty much, but with no muffler, would the decreased back-pressure be a benefit or would it harm performance? Or would it just become 'loud' and annoying.
(This question disregards state/local laws, by the way.)
If anyone has any idea, or has experimented with this, I'd love to know.
