Back up camera and warranty

Ok so yeah back up camera on my 2012 stopped working. I did research and I guess it seems to be a common problem. Issue as some of u know, blue screen with the guide lines appear.

So question, I know the bumper to bumper has fine print somewhere. Car has 42k miles on it. Anyone know if it's still covered under warranty? And if it's not, cost of camera...and if it's worth fighting for this to be covered under warranty (if it's not)
