Thought I would just inform those of you that have the new model, that I towed a motorcycle and trailer (1500 lbs) from Houston Texas all the way up here to Winter Park Colorado over two days and had absolutely NO issues whatsoever. I averaged about 23 miles per gallon and went about 65 and sometimes 70 mph. The car stayed in 8th gear at those speeds. when we approached Denver and got into the mountains, I slipped the car into manual and did the gear changing myself. Going up steep climbs I usually was in about 5th or 6th gear, but on highway 70 where the climbs are not as drastic, usually 7th gear did the trick. Engine temperature never changed.
