Ok all. Here is goes. part of my plan this year is to perfect a front face lift on my Elantra. I plastidipped by rear emblem & my front emblem w/ wings. the rear was white, and the front emblem was white, with the wings black. I liked the plastidip for what it was (a paint simulator), but wasnt happy with the texture that it came out with, especially with the white, since it caught a lot of dirt and was impossible to clean since if you rubbed too hard, the plastidip would just come off anyway. Overall though, I like a glossy/shiney look anyway, and the plastidip was quite matte.
So the rear emblem is removed (instructions to do this all over, so I'm not going to waste time suggesting how to do this)
Front bumper removed (There is a great sticky by Gamerguy here for instructions on how to do this... I did removed the bumper last year, and I'm very comfortable doing it on my own. 10 min job... max) Link to sticky.
Next. I wanted to remove the front chrome trim components from the bumper, once it was off of course.

From the back of the front bumper:
Red: remove screws with Philips screw driver
Yellow: two sonic welded pieces, can be broken off, dont do much. If you are really concerned, you can put double sided tape in the holes before putting the piece back on, it will hold it snug
Blue: there are two screws behind the foam piece. you can either remove the foam piece (metal clips), or just puncture the foam with the screw driver (smaller sized preferred) to get to the screw. I did the latter... :D

Once you have the chrome pieces off, like so:

Make sure they are relatively clean of 'stuff' (my stuff was plasti-dip.... so i removed it last night) like so:

I am still waiting on the front chrome trim that will line the hex area to de-chrome these pieces. But I might get a head start since its more of a waiting game then anything...
stay tuned for the next steps!!! :D
