What could cause my 04 Sonata to jerk forward at 40 to 50 mph? It almost always does it, especially if it is a hard acceleration. I'm worried that it might be the transmission. I've also thrown the idea around that the fuel injectors might be clogged. What are some other ideas? It is a violent jerking almost like the car is about to break down. Even the steering wheel jerks.
