Hard Wired Radar Detector Install?

I was thinking of tapping the mirror power using leads you can buy on amazon, but the mirror looks completely enclosed. Curious if anyone has hard wired power to the map light or mirror on this vehicle yet, and if so if you have any tips or instructions you've followed.
