Just joined this forum. I've purchased a 2004 Getz which is great for around town and economical cruising. Reminds me very much of the Mini 850 I used to have- my first car. The Getz keeps its wheels on the road just like the Mini used to- which means you feel every bump and ripple on the rougher country roads, but at least you know your tyres are still in contact with the tar!;) The Getz is what the Mini should have become if the Brits had continued to develop it.
I like to do my own servicing, but I'm a little timid around cars with so much electronics (little risk of that with the Mini!). So hopefully if I come up against any difficulties there might be some people on here who have already overcome the same problem and can help out.
