I just got done watching an episode of Top Gear UK and they had a segment that spotlighted the British manufacturing sector and its donations to the global auto market. Just like here, people in the UK say, "We don't make anything anymore" but as Top Gear proved with an impressive display of British-built vehicles (not just cars), that's simply not true. Now I don't have the time to go through and list all the vehicles made in the US today but to give you an idea that our manufacturing sector is thriving when it comes to cars, here is a full list of automobiles built in the United States today. And keep in mind, some of these vehicles are also built for worldwide export!
