The Elantra Short Throw Shifter is precisely engineered to replace the stock shifter unit and the stock plastic reverse lockout mechanism. It features a two piece TIG welded short shifter shaft and a one piece CNC machined aluminum reverse lockout handle.
The fully CNC machined aluminum reverse lockout comes assembled with inner delrin bushings and a strong reverse spring to insure a smooth and precise operation.
Like all our shifters, the Elantra short shifter shaft is black coated with a strong and resistant black zinc finish. The reverse lockout will be available either in raw aluminum finish (Silver) a satin finish (Matte Silver), or in an anodized black finish.

This short throw shifter kit will reduce your throw by a hefty 34%. The throw reduction, included solid base bushings coupled with our optional cable bushings will give you the crisp solid shifts we are all looking for.
