I have a 2003 Ford Focus ZX3, a local dealership has a Black 2004 Santa Fe 3.5 L for sale but the Manager tells me it has a bad Lifter.
It's in great condition everything works on it, it's really clean , but the ticking sound it makes when it's running isn't too hot.
I really no nothing about cars so I thought I'd come on here for some information. It's my understanding to get to the lifters the head has to come off so it would be quite labor intensive. And the parts I don't know what they would run or if I would need to replace anything else.
my cousin is a Mechanic though so I could probably get a deal if that's all it needs but I don't know. My car has a lot less miles than the Hyundai and is in real good condition to so they would probably trade me but idk if that's too risky.
