I recently traded my 2011 Sonata GLS for a 2013 Sonata SE (Non-T) lease with Nav/Backup/Dimension package. Loving every minute on this new baby.
I'm new to Bluelink, as the 2011 didn't have it. I'm on the 3 month trial for the Essentials and Guidance packages and the Assurance is FREE for 3 years (on my lease).
Question - does the navigation system on this car need the Guidance package for it to give directions, turn by turn and voice? I understand that if I don't opt for the Guidance package, I won't get Live traffic etc, but I don't care about that. I was wondering how the navigation functions without the guidance package?
