So I've been thinking about selling my turbo and getting into something more like an 2008-2010 Subaru. If a sale doesn't happen, then I have no regrets, I love my 2.0T. Maybe somebody out there with an older Hyundai or wanting to upgrade to the turbo model might be interested...
I've done some research but haven't found many turbo models for sale on the open market. Car runs perfect and in great shape & smoke free. Just rolled 30,000 miles. I also just put on brand new 18'' Goodyear All Season tires back in May with an alignment, so they have about 3,000 miles on them as of the end of July.
**PS - If you're thinking about buying from a dealer, the factory tires for this car are not good in the snow & rain, so you will be buying new tires anyway so keep that in mind. Oh and any low profile 18'' tires suck in the snow so plan on a set of snow tires too if you see a lot of snow...but you're in luck...see below!
I also have, and included in this sale, and extra set of winter tires ALREADY MOUNTED on older Hyundai Tiburon rims. The winter tires are 17'' General Altimax which is a top rated winter tire! I ran these about 2500 miles before I took them off this spring.
Fresh oil as of 7/14/13 with 5w40 (recommended for the turbo engine, but 5w30 is also accepted).
I am currently making car payments on this car, so a sale wouldn't happen overnight... I would need to get a pay off amount from the bank and probably a small loan to cover any negative equity to give a clean title. This stuff shouldn't take anymore than a week I would hope.
Ok, onto the "legal" stuff...Serious buyers only, no test drives unless you are pre-approved with a bank letter - I will also ride along. Price of $21,000 is pretty firm with new tires and extra set of mounted winter tires included. No hidden problems with the car but figured I could roll over a lot less if I sell it out right, or I will continue driving & enjoying it
Car has everything except navigation I believe. Feel free to post any questions or comments.
