New to this site so advice is always appreciated!
Recently purchased a 2007 Santa fe, auto 7 seater diesel.
So far I have managed to change and upgrade the following!
Brand New Side Steps with LED lights either end.
Incorporated LED puddle lights with indicators on each side mirror which look factory standard as on newer models.
All of the above will switch on via the remote central locking key fob and looks great at night and goes out on closing the door, they also come on if doors opened.
I also fitted a full Multimedia unit that looks standard and has the following options:-
Bluetooth Phone kit
Digital TV
Sat Nav
USB
Ipod
Internet 3g access
DVD, CD player
Reverse Camera built into rear number plate light
I have also used a carbon fibred trim to move away from the wood effect dash and continued this through to the door moulding trims. I did not want to go mad so only covered this and intend on doing the gear console in the next few days.
I will also be adding footwell lights to all floor areas and also internal door mood lighting shortly.
Pictures will be added shortly or feel free to pass me your details if you cannot wait to see how it all looks.
My question is does anyone know if I can remove my old 2007 front bumper that currently has the round fog lights for the newer shape 2010-2012 bumper that has wider cheek lines and the fog lights that are a bit squarer.
Reason for this is I have seen a fog light kit with DRL's built in above that look stunning and will compliment what I have done so far.
Apart from a slight upgraded shape the original lights and shape look the same but im not sure if anyone has already attempted this.
I know of aftermarket kits etc but I feel with what I have done so far I wanted it to look original and not added on.
Looking forward to hearing of other things I can do to my new toy!
