Morning All,
In an attempt to get totally out of debt I have paid off everything with the last remaining thing standing in my road being my Sonata. Works great, beautiful condition. I've listed it on craigslist (see link below) hopefully linking to craigslist is allowed but if not I can just copy and paste it all in here.
2011 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T
2011 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T
Year: 2011
Make: Hyundai
Model: Sonata
Trim: SE 2.0 Turbo
Transmission: Automatic / Shift-tronic paddles/shifter
Mileage: 35866 (Today, I drive it daily)
Color: Black
This is a great car and I have not been disappointed with it in the slightest. The 274hp turbo powered engine gets awesome gas mileage, I can get 34-36mpg on the highway. I recently had it appraised at carmax and in a stroke of genius I have posted that here so you can see their appraisal as far as an unbiased 3rd party. (Not to mention it includes a lot of the features which I then don't have to type in here.)
The driver fender and front door have prior paintwork (as mentioned on the Carmax appraisal) due to someone backing into the car in a parking lot and then driving off without leaving information. That was repaired by the insurance company. There is a small (less than the size of a dime) dent on the left passenger door from being hit by another door, but it's not very noticeable at all. The wheels (or "rims" as some call them) have some scratches from parking downtown but they are minimal. The tires are in great condition, and all maintenance and oil changes were done at the dealer (I have the paperwork if needed) also I have an extra cabin filter and engine air filter and I'd be happy to show you how to replace them (not needed at this time but very easy) so the dealer or other place doesn't try to charge you for such a simple maintenance item you can do yourself.
And so there you have an honest and fair assessment of the car. If you have any further questions just let me know. I'm asking $18,500 for the car but you can make me an offer (be reasonable). You will have to sort out your own auto loan (because I'm not a bank and I'm not wealthy).
After some research it would appear this is how the sale would have to go down:
1. We go to the bank (Myself the seller and you the buyer)
2. Your bank contacts my loan holder for payoff amount.
3. The bank sends them a check for the payoff amount and transfers the title to you (or your bank if you have a loan to pay for it) and we fill out the document of sale from the DMV (I'll pick it up).
4. The bank writes me a check for the amount over what I owe on the car.
5. We both go our separate ways, and you are proud owner of a beautiful Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T.
