So I bought an 06 lx v6 in '12 with around 33k. Beautiful condition. However since owning it I have had my fair share of things to go wrong with it. And now I'm at 56k on the dot and I was never having probs with the transmission, I was jus calling the dealer to see what they recommended for service since in the book it mentions 30k service for severe conditions and living in WNY the sonata sees many of those conditions. When I called and asked blab out previous maintenance, the lady told me other than the transmission being replaced at 31k, there has been no other maintenance. When I asked before about what was done to the car prior to me buying it I was never informed nor was I when I asked for a complete vehicle history printout when I was having problems with the car and working with the dealership owner. She said the reason for repair was the CEL was on and it appeared to be stuck in low gear. Has anyone else had any problems with their sonata's transmission?
