Hi all, I haven't posted in a while since my car has been so good to me. This morning, I started the car and the engine made a racket (sounded like valve noise) and was shaking. I shut it off and restarted several times. Finally the racket stopped but the engine was still mis-firing. I drove off and it rapidly got better until it was running fine. The check engine light was flashing during the mis-fire, then was just on once the car was running fine. The codes revealed several cylinders mis-firing but that's it. It runs fine now and the light is off. Any ideas? It's a V-6 with 75,000 miles on it and never an engine-related episode. Thanks!
