I just recently purchased a used 2011 Santa Fe. Twice now, upon putting the vehicle into drive, the dashboard no longer displays the "D" as it normally would. Whenever this occurs, the doors also do not automatically lock and the shift between drive and park seems to be somewhat rough (the vehicle will lurch forward slightly upon putting the car back into park despite it being completely stopped). All of the other electronics seem to be working fine (radio, odometer, and temperature). This problem has only occurred twice, and after restarting the vehicle, everything is back to normal. What is going on? Is this a problem to be concerned about?
P.S. I have also installed a new battery. Could this have messed with the electronics?
