I am going to be installing HID Lows soon. After that, I doubt I will use my high beams much since I live and drive primarily in the suburbs with street lights. However, on dark hilly roads the projector cutoff tends to leave you blind at times. So, I was thinking about installing DRL style LEDs in the high beams. Just the DRL, 400-500 lumen type, not the newer 1800 lumen headlight type. Then, wire them to run full power at all times. During the day, they would be DRL. What I'm wondering is if they would give any output at all as a little bit of cutoff compensation at night without being blinding to other drivers.
Anyone with LED DRLs, please chime in about output as high beams. I know they are not going to be like having full high beams but that's kinda the point.
Thanks
