I have a mild complaint about it.
When I'm driving by myself with the windows open, the metal latch bangs against the hard plastic backing.
It's annoying.

So here is what I thought I may do.
Remove the black plastic on the middle column and place a sizable neodymium magnet to the spot behind the latch, held in place with some 3M double sided tape.
When travelling alone the latch will be held against the plastic and not move.
Sounds reasonable?
