New Alternator wont stop squeaking.

I drive a 2005 GL 2.4L automatic. I just replaced the alternator after the last one froze. I have bought a reman one installed it after placing the factory pulley on the new alternator. But every time I start the car the alt belt begins to squeak, and becomes extremely hot. I have played with the tension thinking that might be the issue but no luck. If I cant figure it out I am going to take it to a mechanic, but I hate spending $75/hr when I can do it at home with some help.
