I own a 2003 sonata and am getting it ready to put up for sale. The airbag light showed up about 2 weeks after it was out of the body shop for repair. At first if you moved the seat back it would go out. Now it stays on all the time.
A buddy of mine scanned it when I was getting new brakes installed and he said he was coming up with bad airbag but said he didn't mess with them enough to know what all would cause it to read that.
It was then that I found just moving the seat made it disappear. So what's the best method of test to see if it's just the seat sensor? Or is this an item better to be left for the guy who has the proper tools and procedure used to mess with?
