I have at 2,2 Santa Fe automatic. During long rides with trailer the temerature indicator goes up and the safe mode on the engine kicks inn. The temperature rises in secounds and drops at same speed some seconds later. It never happends whithout trailer and only when driving for several hours. When I check the engine it doesn' seem hot. Have been to three different garages but they can't find the problem. No error codes on the computer. I'm on vacation and had to dropp the camper on the way. Sorry for my poor english but I'm Norwegian! Please help!
