Greetings all.
I test drove a 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T yesterday. Fully loaded. Loved nearly everything about it. The one thing I didn't like was that it felt like the driver's seat was a tad too high. Even adjusted as low as it would go, I didn't like that the center arm rest and gear shift selector seemed a little low for me, and it felt as if I had to slightly slump over to the right in order to rest my arm.
I know this is probably a silly question, and I probably already know the answer, but I'll ask anyway. I can't be the only one that feels this way, right? Has anyone found a mod to lower the seat? I know in other cars you can RAISE the seat fairly easy with some extensions but I've never heard of lowering a seat. Any input on this subject would be welcome (well, just about any). I truly fell in love with this vehicle, but I know myself well enough that if I'm not happy with the driver's position I probably won't be happy period.
Thanks!!
Tony
(I've got a 2012 Kia Optima SX that I'm totally in love with. I'd love to have my garage full of S. Korean vehicles!!)
