Hi all,
Quick question:
I recently had a control arm snap in my 2002 Elantra - wasn't aware of the recall until it snapped and I googled the part while waiting for a tow.
My local dealership happily replaced both arms, the subframe, and front sway bar, but I immediately noticed the alignment seems off. They left the steering wheel cocked 10 degrees to the right, just hoping I wouldn't notice, I guess.
Now, for the question - I'm in need of some new tires. The current set is sort of hodge-podge, so I figure if I replaced them all I'd need an alignment anyway.
Now, if I convince the dealership to correct the alignment as part of their front-end work, would I be in good shape to immediately get new tires without an additional alignment?
