My AC has a problem that I think is related to what is called a "power circuit". Even in the past winter I had no defrost because as soon as I turned it on I could feel a drag on the engine and the AC fan would spin at a very high speed. This happens now that it is warm and I turn the AC on. I understand that the compressor is meant to turn on under both conditions to keep it from seizing up over the winter. I've heard about a "power circuit" (a unit with a power transistor in it) as a possible problem. Does anyone have experience with this issue? Thanks
