05 Elantra GT 150K miles. While trying to figure out my P0442 code I was looking at some of the other sections my OBD-II scanner software has.
In the oxygen sensor data area it shows Bank 1 Sensor 1 and Bank 1 Sensor 2. I take it Sensor 1 is the one in the exhaust header and Sensor 2 is the downstream.
While the car is running, under Oxygen Sensor Output Voltage, Sensor 1 always shows 0.0v and 0.0 under Short term Fuel Trim. Sensor 2 has fluctuating voltage between .125-.725v and shows N/A under the Short Term Fuel Trim.
O2S1 Lambda shows.982-997v under Live Data.
So the fact that no output voltage is being read for sensor 1, am I right in believing it's bad? Downstream sensor was replaced last year along with cat converter (flex pipe rusted).
