OK, so this is probably not a situation many people come into... But...
I've got a UHF CB (Icom IC-400Pro) I want to install, but I can't find any easy way to run the antenna cable into the car aside from buying a new (and no doubt crappy) glass mount antenna.
So far I've discovered there appears to be no preexisting grommets for passing stuff through the firewall, and even if there was, the gap between the bonnet lid and the side panels is way too small for RG-58 cable anyway.
I was intending on mounting the actual UHF on the passenger side of the center console, partially under where the glovebox starts bulging out (if you get what I mean). It's not ideal, but seems to be the only place it will fit.
Anyone got any ideas about feeding cables around the i20?
Also, a service manual... That might help me out, but I can't seem to bypass the paywall at the Euro site, and I'm not keen on dropping money into their tin because I'm in Australia so the manuals may not be suitable.
