I just recently bought a 1995 accent because my 1992 ford probe is making all kinds of demonic noises when I start it (I assume a faulty oil pump, but I don't wanna deal with it), lol.
I knew it had an oil leak when I bought it (about 1 week ago- I only paid $950 for it) and it was low on oil, but I opted not to put much oil in it because I'm taking it for an oil change tomorrow. I had to put a bit of oil in it this morning to keep it running smoothly but I'm just not sure where it is coming from. I know pretty much nothing about cars (typical female I guess) and I just don't see where it's coming from. Underneath the hood is pristine and clean, and when I bought the car the guy had receipts for maintenance (including replaced timing chain, rebuilt clutch and new head cover among other things, long story). The oil isn't leaking onto anything really, a few drops on the belt on the passenger side of the engine. But otherwise, it's dripping straight down to the ground. It's fairly slow (the probe also has a broken distributor seal and it leaks massively- this is nothing like that).
Where would you assume it's leaking from, and what would it cost to have a professional look at it (considering i do not have the knowledge or tools to do it myself)
