I went to run errands one day, listening to music as usual and when I restarted the car to come back home, the radio didn't come on. No error message, just a blank but illuminated LCD.
Well, disconnected the battery today for a little while to see if that would reset anything and instead that evening I very nearly couldn't get the car to restart. It sounded like it was ready to die. I recall the (-) sparking when I reconnected it but would this have anything to do with the car failing to turn over?
Looking now at the radio LCD, it is completely black. I also noticed when I had my window down driving around the block what smelled like an electrical burning smell but when I pulled over and popped the hood I could smell nothing anymore and not sure if it was coming from my car or not.
I need help. I've never been this frustrated by a car.
