2009 Sonata-AC Compressor will not turn on

Hello all. Trying to help a friend figure this out.
Vehicle is an 09 Sonata.
The vehicle was brought to a local shop to check Freon level and deemed to be full and good but the AC Comp still will not turn on.
I don't think that garage was very good at diagnosing electrical issues.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any common problems with the AC units in these and what to check first.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
