Around 90 days with 2 new 2013 Santa Fe 2.0T's. Just some thoughts and questions I'm putting out to get feedback from my fellow Hyundai owners.

GOOD NEWS
-Great car so far at 5000kms (the other vehicle I purchased was for my mother and she has yet to break 1500).

-Gas mileage avg great, less now with AC on at times.

-No major issues now, first oil change around the corner and after doing some researching and thinking going to invest in full synthetic.

BAD NEWS
-my dealership is terrible! 3 days of phone calls and messages to book an oil change! They sound clueless, never had an close to this bad of an experience with the GM dealership I dealt with when I had my previous vehicle. They bent over backwards to get my business with loyalty cards and discounts after warranty period had expired.

-did I mention my dealership sucks??!!

-bought a dashboard micro-fibre dusting/polishing and after only wiping away a select area of the dash between the wood grain and top of dash it seems to have left fine marks in the dash. It was a yellow cloth from 3M with a soft polish side and fluffy side purchased at Target, stay away from this product.
If this is the damageability limit of that cross stitch grain on my dash I'm not impressed, mentioned this to service manager at dealership and he is bring in a interior detailing expert to review and repair this area along with another couple scratches I found. If not repairable I will be kicking and screaming for it to be replaced, nothing should scratch or damage that easy. I recommend the California Dusting/Polishing Duster, works great and lasts. It come in 2 sizes mini/large and is precoated so no ArmorAll or anything is needed.

-rear backup sensors seem to work intermittently, dealer to take a look at first service appt. I have no confidence in them at this point.

-bluetooth connection is fair at best, so many people complain that they can't hear me or that connection is bad. Is there anything that can be done about
this?
Again the dealer will be looking into it at first service appt.

-people that are stating they are no issue with wind-noise on this car are lying to themselves, or just deaf and drove Hummer before, windnosie is evident coming from OSRV mirror area on to front glass closer to the front, don't believe just lower your window a crack and see how the wind flies in. Not a major issue but I would thought it would be less evident on a car built in 2013. Again this is with a vehicle with perfect door fits in terms of flushness and fit between front and back doors, with a smooth skullcap on the OSRV mirror and no character line on the OSRV mirror to break the wind deflection up this is happening and some are just in denial.

MISC
-not very happy with no protection for any stones to go between large gaps in front grill, I have heard of people buying mesh and installing it behind grill to prevent this from happening. If you have done so please share with me results and info on where to obtain products that you purchased.

-going with floor mats from China, found a supplier on AliExpress.com, negotiating with him to get 2 sets for both vehicles for under $150 with free shipping. These will be all weather liners with side protection and will utilize front carpet hooks. They will by synthetic leather and waterproof also with skid pad built in for drivers mat. This set will include front driver and passenger with rear seats and cargo area. Once I have I will post with photos, couldn't justify buying the Hyundai floor liners offered in Canada for the price they are going for.

-If I get the OEM dimming mirror with HomeLink is it a straight swap out with a connection to wiring harness in headliner? Need to know as due to past work experience contacts I can get one for free $0 from supplier, would like to have for HomeLink as I had this in previous vehicle and carrying my garage door opener albeit not a major issue is kind of a hassle(I know a true first world problem).

-anyone ever purchase a cooling seat pack like a heated seat pad that plugs into car lighter, the heated seat ones have been around forever and are pretty easy to find, would love to have had OEM cooled seats but jumping up another couple models and getting the panoramic roof included which I don't like(I'm the guy who doesn't put his windows done ever or believes in convertibles or sunroofs, once summer comes its AC on all the time and windows up, don't like wind in my face either)

Thats is for now, please let me know your feedback. Thx.
