SF Luxury Question on Clock(and more)

Hello folks-we got our SF a few days ago and are still getting familiar with it.
We noticed that you can't have the radio on and still view the time and date. If you push the clock button the large time/date displays for a few secs and then goes back to display the radio info.
Anybody know if it's possible to have the radio on and still see the large time/date display? We miss the large time display that our '09 GLS had.
We also noticed that the owner's manual recommends servicing every 12000km to maintain warranty but the Hyundai maintenance brochure, as well as the owner's passport booklet says every 6000km. Any comments on that?
