Bumper Reflector LED module install

So folks, I broke down and picked up some LED modules for the rear bumper reflectors. Many have made this mod to their SF Sports, but there is limited availability of these modules for the XL/LWB. I was really really hoping for a surface emitting style to match my LED tails like these:



but searches have been in vain. Also, I contacted manufacturers and suppliers only to be told they have no plans because of the cost to create the mold. I guess the fact that our LWBs are mostly a North American vehicle (aside from some ROW where they sell the Maxcruz), probably is seen as too small a market for after market parts.

Anyway, the reflectors I got are these:



So, they are at the local post office awaiting my pick up. Perhaps, given I have no plans this weekend and it is shaping up to be a cr@ppy rainy one, I might just tackle this and try and install. Not going to be easy given it requires cutting open the back of the reflector. Will try to remember to take some pics and will post results afterwards. Hopefully, the $80 and effort will be worth it.
