Hey all,
I'm an ex-Ion Redline driver and was looking for something similar in build/style. I came across a 2k3 2.7L 6spd GT at a dealer near by with 80k miles for 6,999. I've already KBB'd it and it comes in at only 5k, so I'll use that as a talking point. It has had 3 owners in the past and one accident reported 6 years ago.
My questions are: How reliable are these things? Everyone seems to have horror stories with transmissions and clutches from everywhere else on the net, but people often complain but rarely congratulate, so I'm wondering if this is the minority. Also, what kind of stuff should I be looking for / paying attention to during the test drive?
Appreciate the time guys. Maybe you'll be seeing more of me around these parts haha.
