2002 hyundai santa fe 2.7l V6 manu-matic GLS
ok so i have recently purchased a 02 hyundai santa fe with the airbags deployed. i know it was in a front collision and that only the driver and passenger front air bags deployed, no side bags blew. i have replaced both bags, the SRS ECU module, and both front seat belts. the AIR BAG warning light now does the self check correctly at start up and then goes off as it should if the system self checks ok. i wanted to know if there are any crash sensors along the front and sides of the body that will have to be replaced or if the SRS ECU module has an accelerometer inside and acts as a stand alone sensor?
i have had trouble finding info with web search, was hoping someone here could help. and please dont tell me to take it to a dealer, i wont.
