I bought at new i10 in 2014, the old model, thinking all the issues with clutch now resolved. I may have been unlucky but after only 2k miles have just had a new clutch fitted under warranty. There was the intermittent judder from cold in first, a poor change in low gears and sometimes wheelspin when pulling away in wet conditions. This was all from new and it just didn't feel right. I reported all this to the dealer and to their credit they accepted this and made clear this was a recognised issue. A new modified clutch was installed, basically this is from an i20 and so of a better grade and quality. It has transformed the way the car drives such that I now do not have to consciously think about every gear change. In the end a good response from Hyundai but I am guessing quite a few out there just accept that the poor but useable clutch as a characteristic of what is otherwise a competent car.
