Hey guys, I'm new to the Hyundai community and hope I can become accustom to it.
Anyways, I recently obtained a 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS w/ the Lambda 3.3L engine with 77,008miles. Car is all stock. It's also factory "Cinnamon" or maroon I recently installed an Apollo CAI kit on the car about a month ago. Not sure if it helped or not. I can't notice much change. But I've noticed a nicer throttle response.
Now to you guys! I'm looking to make my sonata run atleast a 13.5 in the Quarter mile. Yeah I know that's a big jump from 15.1 stock. So I was wondering what would be the best route to get the car there. I was thinking Spark plugs, valve springs, rods, rockers, Camshaft, heads, exhaust, then a Torque converter, tranny cooler, and bigger brakes and tires.
Visually, I wanted to Plastidip the car Flat white, black out the emblems, and then put on TSW Nurburgring 19" rims, Eibach lowering kit (1.5"), Possibly wheel spacers? not sure if I need them at all, and smoke the head/tail lights.
I welcome ALL input! Except negative "Ohhh this is stupid" blah blah,
