ipod cable doesn't list albums/songs

on the display screen on our base GLS. Why not?

Am I missing something to push to get it to show song and artist on the display screen?

I am using the correct plug-in and should work correct?

Let me know for I am confused my former 2011 hyundai santa fe displayed song/artist no problems as well as our current and former toyota tundra.

I can't figure it out, any idea???????????
