Hello all... Long time lurker, first time poster.
After owning a 2002 Santa Fe (was a great car) and a 2008 Veracruz GLS (still a great car), our family is now the proud owner of a 2014 Accent SE.
We've had it a couple days now, and everything has been great except for a semi-persistent burning smell. It almost reminds me of burning plastic.
I originally drove it about 40 miles as a dealer transfer driver, and notice no odor. Then the car was detailed and I drove it another 10 miles home. It was when I got it in the garage that I first noticed the rather strong odor. Now every time after when I pull it in I notice it, but much less then the time before. Now, 140 miles later, the smell is almost but not quite gone.
This is my 3rd brand new car and I never experienced this before. Any thoughts on what it may be?
