Hi All,
Looking for some feedback as to whether or not you think I am getting a good deal from my local Hyundai dealer. Here are the details:
- Trading in 09 Santa to Fe to which we still owe $15k
- Dealer willing to pay off balance of amount owing ($15k), and put us into a brand new '13 Santa Fe Limited
- Dealer offered $0 down with monthly payments of $470/mth finance term of 96 mths (yikes!)
Our '09 needs new summer tires along with some standard maintenance ie. fluids, service calipers etc. and has 93,000km's. Frankly, I was fully expecting to have them offer little money for our 09 and tack on the difference to the new sale price - they may be doing this however, the price seems fair to me. What I am not a big fan of is the 96 mth term but I am trying to keep our payments under $500/mth.
Thoughts? Good deal or should I keep working them for a better offer?
