Tapping from tire

Hi folks. Been a long time since I have been on here but I have a question for you all.

I took a trip up to New Hampshire about a month ago and on the way back I noticed when turning left on the highways (Not fully turning but on like say an offramp) I would hear a thumping sound coming from the front left side tire. When I got back onto the island it was not as noticable I guess mainly due to the fact that we dont really have offramps like up in New England that could replicate that sound.

However to make a long story short tonight I was backing up into my driveway and noticed that while turning the wheel I heard that same tapping noise coming from the same tire. It is hard to explain but it is definatly not from the brakes becouse it was making the sound while turning with no brakes applied.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?
