I'm adding a dashcam to my 2010 Elantra SE and would like to avoid having a wire dangling down from behind my mirror. Ideally I'd like to tap into an ignition switched 12 volt source in the headliner.
To that end- I pulled out my overhead console (basic console- no bluetooth) and found a constant 12 volt source but no switched 12 volt source. The console connects to a larger plug above the headliner just over the driver's head- a plug which has several additional pins and wires that I have not yet accounted for. (It's very difficult to get at or I would put a voltmeter on it)
Does anyone have the pinout for this connector and is there a switched 12 volt source available that I can tap into?
If not- is there another solution I should consider?
Thanks in advance-
