Linking my mobile to the radio...

One of the settings on my 59 plate i19 radio is a phone link setting. When I click on it, it starts scrolling through fm stations? Any idea how I can get it to link up? I am
pretty sure it's not via Bluetooth it seems like something seperate. Thanks in advance.
