Hi everyone,
I've bought a y 2000 Accent LC 1.5l GLS, had most of it's problems fixed over a few months, but one remains. The dashboard lights aren't working. The gauge backlights are ok, but the center piece (where the control knobs for vents and temp are) is totaly dark, except the radio.
I've read somewhere in the forums to check the diodes in the under-the-hood fusebox, but they are missing and their sockets are not even wired e.g. have neither cables running under them, nor have copper contacts in them.
I only have one diode in the compartment fuse box, Z01.
So guys, what do these diodes should do exactly and why am I missing them and why aren't the sockets even cabled?
Thank you all!
