Bad Starter Motor

Today I was going to lunch, got in the car, it wouldn't start with a clicking sound. I asked our garage guy if he could jump start a personal vehicle for me. He came and hooked up a jumper battery and we could not get it to start. He said because the interior lights were not dimming when starting it was probably not the battery. I called Hyundai for someone to come and tow it away. Turns out the starter motor was bad. Had to fight for a rental car, but at least I got one. The dealership is mostly a Chrysler dealership, so I am not sure if they have low Hyundai part inventories or are just busy, but they say it will be fixed at earliest in two days. I am being told that starter motors are something that rarely ever goes out on a car. Just my luck. Could have been worse I guess, Was thinking of taking it on a larger 800 mile trip next month. Better now than later I assume!
